I still pinch myself every day, unable to believe that I had the extraordinary opportunity to be a part of the television show "Maine Cabin Masters." As an artist passionate about capturing the beauty of wildlife and nature of Maine, this experience was truly a dream come true. Let me take you on a journey behind the scenes and share the incredible adventure of having my artwork featured on this beloved show.
From the moment I received the call inviting me to collaborate with the talented team of Maine Cabin Masters, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. Now, I had the chance to contribute my own artistic touch to their remarkable creations. What's even more exciting is that the owners of the cabin are my amazing friends!
As the day of filming arrived, the film crew made their way to my art studio. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Maine wilderness, I was filled with inspiration and gratitude. The crew greeted me warmly, instantly making me feel like part of the family. Their passion for their work was infectious, and I couldn't wait to see how my art would intertwine with their renovation skills.
Together with Ashley, we brainstormed ideas, discussed color palettes, and examined how my pieces could enhance the cabin's ambiance. The collaboration was a creative whirlwind. I was so elated to be creating this custom piece for David and Bishop's new cabin.
As the renovation progressed, I began working on the custom painting that would be placed in the cabin. I completely immersed myself in the creative process. The serene surroundings of my art studio, provided the perfect atmosphere for my inspiration to flow freely.
Days turned into weeks, and soon, the grand reveal day was upon us. The moment I stepped into the fully transformed cabin, I was overcome with emotion. The space was completely revitalized, capturing the essence of Maine's natural beauty. My painting of Artax and Ripley adorned the wall, accentuating the cozy charm and adding a touch of contemporary elegance. In the loft upstairs my woven throw of the painting was on the guest bed as well!
Seeing the Maine Cabin Masters team marvel at the final result was an indescribable joy. To have my artwork showcased alongside their build was an honor beyond words. The fusion of our creative endeavors had breathed new life into the cabin, making it a haven for the owners.
Being a part of this was a turning point in my artistic journey. It opened doors I had never dreamed possible and introduced me to a passionate community of individuals who shared my love for art, craftsmanship,the wilderness and most of all pets! I will forever cherish the memories created during this adventure and the connections formed along the way.
