Colorful painting of two dogs leaning against a tree, set outdoors. The background features abstract hues of green, purple, and orange, conveying warmth.

I saw Marie’s work on a Maine Cabin Masters episode and immediately knew she was the perfect artist to paint my two beloved dogs. She was such a pleasure to work with, clearly explained her process, cost and timeline, and then provided updates and photos along the way. The finished piece is special to me because it captures the spirit and soul of my pets. I would recommend her to anyone.

I commissioned a piece for my daughter and son-in-law's 3 dogs.  Marie was a delight to work with and kept me well informed of the progress with each stage of the process.  It was exciting to watch how she went from sketching the dogs to the final product.  Marie truly captured the personalities & coloring of the dogs and I couldn't have been happier.  My daughter and son-in-law were overwhelmed with the finished piece!  I'd highly recommend Marie Spaulding - you too will be overjoyed with her artistic ability!

Recently, my wife and I commissioned Marie, from Marie Spaulding Art, to create a painting of our recently deceased family dog and our current dog. The dogs were inseparable companions. "Marie painstakingly reviewed several images of both dogs and masterfully captured the essence of their appearance and contrasting personalities. In addition, she beautifully supplemented her artistry with brilliant colors of the Maine coastline. The painting was presented to my wife as a Christmas gift. Marie's creation is so lifelike it evokes visible emotion from family members each time they see the work hanging in its place of prominence in our home.

Working with Marie was a joy!  I gave my son and daughter-in-law a painting of their beloved dog for a wedding gift.  We did the whole project over the phone and through emails; we discussed my ideas for the painting, colors I prefer, and special sentiments I wanted to include.  Marie sent me updates of the painting at every stage for my input.  The final painting turned out beautifully with vibrant colors and is a custom piece my son & daughter-in-law cherish and will keep for a lifetime.
